# Claim Register and Dependency Map

<a id="claim-register-and-dependency-map"></a>

The complete source register (https://systemstheology.com/downloads/v1/ddf-research/source-register.html) preserves every field of the original eighty-nine claim cards, together with the original comparative theology matrix and orientation records. Its machine-readable edition (https://systemstheology.com/downloads/v1/ddf-research/source-register.json) retains the source wording and provenance. These are historical records; the chapter arguments and qualifications below state this edition's judgments.

The eighty-nine IDs are stable reference handles, not a reading order or eighty-nine independent proofs. Each entry locates its argument and preserves a qualification important to its use. The argument and exact source notes remain in the named chapters; the common rules appear once here and in Appendix How DDF Makes and Tests Connections.

<a id="shared-governance"></a>

## Shared governance

Every claim requires a proposition; domain, discipline, and scale; claim kind; authority role; relation type; warrant path; separate confessional, public, and fruit assessments; exact sources and source roles; rival; scope; consequences and protection; and revision condition. A local record additionally states date, version, population or corpus, jurisdiction where relevant, and any departure from these rules. Silence cannot supply missing evidence.

The eight profiles specify inherited inquiry rules. D: doctrine uses canonical and apostolic warrant, preserving local exegetical disputes. C: canonical architecture adds genre, language, stage, and reception. M: method versions a reasoning or transfer rule and states its failure condition. E: empirical and historical contact requires field-specific evidence, method, scope, and currentness. H: human protection adds capacity, consent, care, and safeguarding. S: social institutions adds records, incentives, distribution, power, and appeal. A: public application combines a governing norm with local evidence and implementation. X: disputed boundaries preserves the exact stable claim alongside the exact unresolved question.

D primarily governs T0--T3, T5, 2, 2C, 3, 7--11 and their lettered extensions, 13--15, and 39--41. C governs 12, 12A, 12B, and 54--66, including 56A. M governs M0, M1, T4, 1, 2A, 2B, 4--6, 17, 17A, 25, and 27. E governs 15A, 16, 18--24, 25A, 26, and 28--38. A governs 42--53. H and S apply wherever persons, care, institutions, or power are at stake. X is especially important for 9C, 15A, 19, 21--23, 29, 37--39, and 56A. These profiles inherit standards of inquiry, not confidence in every subordinate proposition.

<a id="method-and-trinitarian-ground"></a>

## Method and Trinitarian ground

M0. Argument Order and Explanatory Power (Ch. 2, 42)

The confessed ground is stated first; its comparative explanatory strength must be earned. Confessional premises cannot be counted as evidence a rival already grants.

M1. Rival Accounts Must Be Steelmanned (Ch. 2, 42)

Compare recognizable, source-grounded rivals on shared questions. Their successes remain evidence even where their ultimate interpretations conflict with DDF.

T0. Triune Ground of the Governing Movement (Ch. 3, 4)

The governing movement is the Triune God's undivided action. Its doctrinal warrant is independent of scientific or technical patterns.

T1. Triune Ground (Ch. 3)

Created gift, intelligibility, and communion are distinguishable receptions of one divine work, never separate divine jobs.

T2. One Divine Action, Ordered Appropriation (Ch. 3)

From the Father, through the Son, in the Spirit names ordered appropriation without ranking natures or dividing operations.

T3. Human Reception Is Whole-Personal, Not Triune (Ch. 13)

Bodily, inward, and Godward reception belong to one creature. Godward addressability differs from the Spirit's gift of saving communion.

T4. AI Formation Language Under the Trinity (Ch. 11, 15)

Machine learning distinguishes formation relations useful for bounded comparison. Its mechanisms cannot define personhood, sin, grace, or the Spirit.

T5. Purpose and the Logoi (Ch. 14)

Creaturely forms and ends are grounded in the personal Logos. Scientific function and ultimate purpose receive distinct warrants.

<a id="reality-purpose-and-mediation"></a>

## Reality, purpose, and mediation

1. Reality Is Prior to Models (Ch. 1, 2)

Reality corrects its representations through mediated contact. A coherent model, institution, or interpretation cannot authenticate itself.

2. Created Reality Is One, Intelligible, and Dependent (Ch. 4)

One created order depends continuously on God. Efficacious divine willing does not alone settle the further modal-collapse dispute.

2A. The Axiom of Purpose Requires Typed Teleology (Ch. 14)

The Axiom of Purpose requires distinct senses of disposition, function, goal, intention, obligation, and ultimate end. Actual outcome does not identify intention.

2B. DDF Has Universal Scope Without Exhaustive Possession (Ch. 1, 43)

Universal scope permits every domain to be investigated within one ontology; it supplies neither exhaustive knowledge nor an answer to an uncovered question.

2C. Providence Orders Real Created Causes; Miracle Is Not Emergence (Ch. 4, 20, 21)

Providence enables real causes. Emergence, miracle, revelation, sacrament, incarnation, and resurrection retain their distinct claims and warrants.

3. Logos Is Personal Before Structural (Ch. 3, 21)

The Logos is the personal Son identified in Jesus Christ. Mathematics, law, code, and information describe created relations.

4. Mediation Is Unavoidable and Good (Ch. 12, 16)

Embodied reception uses language, memory, instruments, institutions, and practices. Created mediation does not limit God's freedom to act.

5. Created Channels Require Discerning Administration (Ch. 16, 24)

Fallible administration can corrupt a good channel. Createdness itself is not a defect; medium and handling require separate judgment.

6. Claim Cards Make Traceability Visible (Ch. 2)

Claim, scope, competent sources, bridge, rival, consequence, and revision condition must be inspectable. A compact profile cannot replace local evidence.

<a id="persons-corruption-and-restoration"></a>

## Persons, corruption, and restoration

7. Human Dignity Rests on Divine Address and Vocation (Ch. 13, 37)

Dignity rests in divine image, address, and vocation. Capacity, productivity, recognition, and independence do not set its threshold.

8. Embodiment Is Constitutive (Ch. 13, 38)

Bodily life belongs to personal identity and hope. Neural dependence does not independently decide every philosophical account of embodiment.

8A. The Human Receiver Is One Embodied, Inward, and Godward Person (Ch. 13, 39)

A person's present awareness and acquisitions do not exhaust the bearer. Loss of a project or disposition is not annihilation of its subject.

8B. Created Agency Requires Formation (Ch. 15, 17)

Formation changes real powers without creating basic standing. A saving beginning can precede maturity; Eden's judicial-maturation reading remains interpretive.

9. Sin Is Culpable Privative Corruption (Ch. 17)

Sin culpably deforms good powers and propagates real damage. Privation preserves rather than minimizes guilt, bondage, alienation, injury, and judgment.

9A. Evil Is Parasitic on the Good (Ch. 17, 26)

Evil depends on the good it damages. Mutability permits a first defect without explaining its actual occurrence or God's permission.

9B. Hostile Spiritual Powers Are Created and Privative (Ch. 17)

Hostile powers are created personal agents defeated in Christ. Phenomenology and exclusion of an ordinary explanation do not identify their agency.

9C. Suffering Requires Causal and Moral Differentiation (Ch. 26)

Finitude, disorder, moral evil, testing, judgment, permission, and redemption differ. Relief and redemptive good do not establish why a horror was permitted.

10. Grace Restores Full Communion (Ch. 23)

Grace initiates and restores participation through Christ in the Spirit. Forgiveness, verdict, healing, and incorporation retain distinct objects.

11. Christ Recapitulates and Restores Creation (Ch. 22)

The Son assumes complete humanity and accomplishes representative, sacrificial, judicial, victorious, and participatory restoration. Shared nature alone does not establish universal saving reception.

12. Scripture Governs Christian Reading Through Genre, Canon, and Christ (Ch. 2, 18, 24)

Genre, wording, canon, and Christ govern inspired speech. Moral pressure alone does not establish false narrator attribution; inspiration alone does not supply timeless directive force.

12A. Apostolic Tradition Is Public Received Witness (Ch. 21, 24, 25)

Received apostolic witness includes gospel, teaching, meal, practice, and hope. Public transmission differs from private novelty and later institutional immunity.

12B. Doctrinal Refinement Preserves the Apostolic Referent (Ch. 24)

Development must preserve the canonical-apostolic referent under corrective pressure. Changed terminology can clarify continuity; reception cannot authenticate a changed gospel.

13. The Church Is Christ-Given Embodied Communion (Ch. 24)

Christ gives the Church its communal identity and gifts. Gentile incorporation does not make Israel's promises disposable or every institution identical with Christ.

13A. Ecclesial Office Is Necessary and Corruptible Mediation (Ch. 24, 32)

Office, records, money, discipline, and safeguarding are accountable mediation. Local allegations require exact evidence and independent processes where leaders are implicated.

14. Sacrament Is Embodied Mediation of Divine Promise (Ch. 25)

Created signs mediate divine promise to embodied persons. Early sacramental evidence does not decide all later disputes about efficacy or presence.

15. Embodied Transformation and New Creation Are the Final Horizon (Ch. 38, 41)

All the dead are raised; saving transformation and further growth are distinct. Fulfilled wholeness requires actual healing in the same subject.

15A. Resurrection Proclamation Is Public Witness (Ch. 21)

Early public resurrection testimony is historically assessable. The report, its transmission, the event, and the event's theological identity are distinct claims.

<a id="canonical-architecture"></a>

## Canonical architecture

54. Torah Orders Communion Through Holiness and Social Practice (Ch. 18)

Torah orders worship and public life through covenant. Continuing Christian use requires canonical fulfillment rather than a timeless civil blueprint.

55. Priesthood and Sacrifice Reveal Cleansed Access (Ch. 18, 22)

Priesthood and differentiated offerings concern cleansing, access, fellowship, reparation, and atonement. A generic mediation metaphor cannot replace their particular claims.

56. Kingship and Empire Test Power (Ch. 19, 32)

Power is judged by truth, justice, and protection rather than success or national identity. Present regimes remain distinct from God's kingdom.

56A. Conquest and Devoted Judgment Are a Unique Canonical Boundary Event (Ch. 19)

Conquest is a unique canonical judgment with categorical Christian nonreuse. Historical correspondence and the fittingness of a literal infant directive remain unresolved.

57. Exile and Return Name Dislocated Communion and Hope (Ch. 19, 33)

Exile and return retain loss, imperial pressure, rebuilding, and repentance. Modern displacement requires historically particular analogy.

58. Prophets Expose False Worship and Economic Injustice (Ch. 19, 31)

Prophetic judgment connects false worship with injustice. Personal outrage or partisan identity alone does not establish prophetic authority.

59. Wisdom Names Skilled Creaturely Knowing Under Limits (Ch. 20)

Wisdom includes skill, desire, lament, and limit. A genre-shaped pattern is not an unconditional promise.

60. Psalms Form the Whole Affective Life Before God (Ch. 20, 25)

The Psalter forms praise, lament, penitence, anger, and hope before God. Expression requires discernment rather than automatic endorsement.

61. Jesus' Kingdom Reorders Concrete Reality (Ch. 21)

Jesus enacts the kingdom in bodies, meals, wealth, status, and discipleship. Mercy, repentance, judgment, and authority belong together.

62. Acts Shows Spirit-Led Public Mission and Discernment (Ch. 24)

Acts joins Spirit-led witness, cross-cultural mission, debate, and public judgment. Narrative supplies patterns rather than a mechanical institutional procedure.

63. Pauline Soteriology Supplies Salvation Architecture (Ch. 22, 23)

Paul joins justification, union, adoption, holiness, and resurrection. DDF's forensic definition of justification is an exegetical position amid real intertradition disagreement.

64. The Holy Spirit Is Personal Divine Agent of New Creation (Ch. 23)

The Spirit personally creates, indwells, sanctifies, gifts, and gives life. Mood, signal, group energy, and feedback describe neither His identity nor a mechanism of grace.

65. Apocalyptic Unmasks Empire and Sustains Witness (Ch. 19, 40, 41)

Apocalyptic unveils idolatrous power and sustains witness through symbolic vision. Particular identifications and timelines remain separately disputable.

66. The Heart Is Whole-Person Orientation Before God (Ch. 13, 15)

The biblical heart includes reason, will, memory, affection, and allegiance. Neither present feeling nor accessible memory exhausts the person.

16. Science Is Direct, Corrigible Reality-Contact (Ch. 2, 6, 43)

Scientific inquiry can correct empirical claims and the bridges built on them. Christian wording grants no empirical exemption.

<a id="scientific-and-human-inquiry"></a>

## Scientific and human inquiry

17. Constrained Generativity and Typed Normativity (Ch. 5, 8, 14, 42)

Lawful constraint and history support generative organization. Viability, felt stakes, rational reasons, obligation, and communion require distinct further relations.

17A. Higher-Level Organization Is Real and Typed (Ch. 6, 8, 43)

Higher organization matters through arranged parts and constraints. Coarse-grained advantage is model-relative; strong ontological emergence remains disputed.

18. Mathematical Applicability Is a Major Open Datum (Ch. 5)

Mathematical applicability is well established; its ultimate explanation is contested. Proof and physical instantiation require different warrants.

19. Parameter Sensitivity Is an Open Cosmological Dossier (Ch. 7)

Parameter sensitivity is model-bound. A global probability requires a justified space, measure, dependencies, and target; design remains a comparative dossier.

20. Living Identity Is Organized, Formed, Teleological, and Repairable (Ch. 8)

Organisms maintain embodied historical continuity through regulated turnover and repair. Biological viability does not determine conscious intention or moral worth.

21. Evolution, Adamic Headship, and Image (Ch. 9)

Evolution, genetic ancestry, genealogy, image, and Adamic headship are distinct. Pre-Adamic personhood and exact covenantal correspondence remain unknown.

22. Life's Origin Is a Coupled Integration Problem (Ch. 9)

Origin research establishes partial pathways. Integration with energy, metabolism, heredity, translation, and sustained evolution remains a historical problem; scaffolding must be reported.

23. Consciousness Is a Real Embodied System-Level Mode (Ch. 10)

Experience is real and neurally dependent. Reportability, consciousness, agency, and standing differ; constitution remains contested.

24. AI Requires Direct Technical Inquiry and Cross-Domain Synthesis (Ch. 11)

Competence, reliability, grounding, autonomy, consciousness, and personhood require separate assessment. Fluency establishes no general verdict across these axes.

25. Information Is a Typed Family; Meaning Requires Organized Use (Ch. 5, 6, 12)

Information names distinct measures and relations. Entropy, description, reset cost, code, meaning, reference, and truth cannot borrow one another's conclusions.

25A. Language Forms Shared Normative Worlds (Ch. 12)

Language forms shared attention and normative practices while remaining answerable to referents. Learnability and successful transmission do not establish truth.

26. Agency Is Formed, Not Erased (Ch. 15)

Agency is formed and attributable under actual conditions. Participation organizes inquiry without independently settling causal sufficiency, ownership, or deserved blame.

27. CRM Names Fact-Meaning Pressure (Ch. 15)

CRM sorts prediction error, meaning pressure, trust, capacity, and action. It has conceptual plausibility without CRM-specific validation or established clinical efficacy.

28. Clinical Care Participates in Truthful Love (Ch. 15, 26, 37)

Qualified clinical care belongs within truthful love. Framework-level interpretation supplies neither diagnosis nor an individual treatment plan.

29. Spiritual Experience Requires Concurrent, Evidence-Disciplined Discernment (Ch. 17, 26)

Spiritual, clinical, relational, and cultural inquiry can proceed together. Religious content, intensity, or prayer response alone identifies no invisible agent.

30. Trauma Is Wounded Mediation (Ch. 26, 37)

Trauma can wound reception, trust, and agency. Its effects require particular care and do not automatically establish culpable sin or spiritual growth.

31. Abuse Is Anti-Communion (Ch. 24, 28)

Abuse uses power against another's life. Forgiveness does not itself restore access, remove accountability, or authorize compulsory contact.

32. False Ideas Are Corrupted Mediation (Ch. 12, 16, 36)

Falsehood can preserve social coherence through corrupted channels. Correcting facts may need changes in incentives, records, trust, and belonging.

33. Institutions Are Durable Mediation Systems (Ch. 16, 24, 32)

Institutional responsibility is enacted by differentiated agents and offices. Corporate repair changes records, rules, oversight, and remedies; the institution is not a soul.

34. Ecology Reveals Differentiated Interdependence, Not Static Harmony (Ch. 8, 35)

Interdependence includes competition, predation, boundaries, and repair. Persistence and resilience do not independently establish goodness.

35. Beauty Is Reality-Contact Under Truth (Ch. 30)

Beauty can disclose and train attention, or conceal and seduce. Aesthetic force requires independent truth and moral judgment.

36. Comparative Religion Shows Real Search and Real Conflict (Ch. 12, 27, 42)

Religious traditions can preserve real contact with truth amid conflicting claims. Christ's sole mediation gives observers no exhaustive inventory of the saved.

37. Hiddenness Is Unequal Mediated Contact (Ch. 27)

Unequal access limits attribution of knowing rejection. Person-specific disclosure is a qualified hope; a healing response opportunity requires an additional premise.

38. Animal Suffering Is Real Creaturely Grief (Ch. 26, 35)

Animal suffering concerns individual goods as well as ecological function. Individual eschatological repair is a moderate inference requiring a contested consummation premise.

39. Final Judgment Unveils and Answers Anti-Communion (Ch. 39, 40)

Judgment retains subjects, works, differentiated account, active divine action, and redress. Conditional destruction is a moderate synthesis; adequate redress remains a serious unresolved constraint.

40. Love Ordered by Truth Is the Fruit of Communion in Christ (Ch. 23, 25, 41)

Truthful love evidences communion in Christ rather than producing an independent saving path. Fruit varies with opportunity and capacity.

41. Human Moral Sentiment Is Not Truth (Ch. 14, 26)

Sentiment is formed and fallible. Mercy seeks real good through truth, protection, justice, and fitting forgiveness rather than comfortable closure.

<a id="public-applications"></a>

## Public applications

42. Economics Mediates Trust, Need, Labor, and Power (Ch. 31)

Economic arrangements distribute need, time, trust, and power. A framing claim supplies no single platform; concrete tradeoffs and distributions require evidence.

43. Labor Is Vocation Under Protection (Ch. 31)

Labor is vocation under justice and rest. Standing persists through disability, care, unemployment, retirement, and exclusion from paid work.

44. Law and State Power Require Legitimate Accountability (Ch. 32)

Law and public authority require legitimate limits, accountability, and protection. Legality and popularity do not establish justice.

45. War and Disaster Reveal Shalom Under Stress (Ch. 33)

War and displacement test protection, memory, and infrastructure. National loyalty cannot cancel civilian claims; aggregate data decide no individual status.

46. Education Forms Persons (Ch. 29)

Education forms attention, skill, and judgment. Enrollment differs from learning; education differs from sanctification and salvation.

47. Built Environments Form Agency (Ch. 34)

Built environments alter exposure, time, access, and agency. Local design requires actual users, constraints, costs, and implementation evidence.

48. Race, Ethnicity, and Nationhood Are Belonging Channels Under Judgment (Ch. 33)

Peoples and national memories can carry gifts or exclusion. Race is an imprecise genetic proxy; repair requires particular histories rather than inherited guilt by identity.

49. Cultural Creation and Play Train Imagination (Ch. 30)

Art, play, and cultural practice form imagination and joy. No common effect follows for every work, genre, or setting.

50. Sexuality and Fertility Are Embodied Covenant Domains (Ch. 28)

Sexuality joins embodiment, covenant, vulnerability, and procreation. DDF's traditional conclusion is cumulative; lexical gloss or diagnosis alone cannot settle it.

51. Food and Land Are Daily Creaturely Dependence (Ch. 35)

Food and land connect dependence, labor, animals, and justice. Famine classification and local policy require their distinct operational evidence.

52. Aging and Dementia Reveal Dignity Beyond Productivity (Ch. 37, 38)

Aging and dementia change capacities without creating a replacement bearer. Population risk, present recognition, personal identity, and final destiny differ.

53. Digital Systems Are Amplified Mediation Requiring Governance (Ch. 36)

Digital systems amplify mediation and power. Life-cycle governance requires evidence about incentives, privacy, failure, appeal, labor, and affected persons.

<a id="dependencies-that-govern-use"></a>

## Dependencies that govern use

An arrow means that the receiving claim depends on the supplying claim for intelligibility or governance. It does not mean that the supplier proves every detail. Mutual constraints are consistency requirements; each claim still needs its own warrant.

- Source and reception. 12 → 12A → 12B governs canonical reading and faithful development; 54--60 and 61--66 preserve the sequence from Torah, power, and wisdom to Christ, apostolic mission, and fulfillment.
- Creation and reception. T0/T1/T2 constrain T3/T5 and 2/2A/2C; T3/7/8 constrain 8A/8B. One created order and its good precede mediation (4), fallible administration (5), and the scope claim (2B).
- Corruption and salvation. 9/9A/9B/9C distinguish sin, privation, hostile agents, and suffering. 11 identifies Christ's accomplished work; 10/63/64 concern its gracious reception. 13/13A/14 distinguish Church, office, and sacrament.
- Completion. 15, 21, 26, 37, 63, 64, and 65 constrain 39. Neither created telos nor acquired loss decides final destiny. Claim 39's demand for redress constrains its preferred terminal synthesis.
- Science and technical transfer. 16 governs evidence for 17/17A and 18--25A; 2C constrains emergence claims. Biological continuity (20) bears on origins (21/22); embodiment (8/8A) constrains consciousness (23). T4 limits the theological use of 24.
- Human and institutional inquiry. 8A/8B/9/10 constrain agency (26); 1/4/5/26 constrain CRM (27). Care (28), spiritual discernment (29), trauma (30), abuse (31), falsehood (32), and institutions (33) require their own evidence and distinctions.
- Public use. Each of 42--53 needs a relevant canonical norm, appropriate field evidence, mediation and agency (4/5/26/33), truthful love (40/41), and the final horizon (15/39). Conquest (56A) constrains war analogy; present war supplies no warrant for conquest.

Eight pairs can inherit common prose while retaining distinct local work: T0/T1, T3/8A, T5/2A, 2/2B, 2C/17A, 12A/12B, T4/24, and 8B/26. The second entry adds, respectively, compact divine-action grammar, operation of channels, typed purpose, domain extension, empirical emergence, development tests, independent AI evidence, and concrete accountability. Other neighboring entries remain distinct claims. An override must state what changes and why; an inherited framework cannot settle a local dispute by silence.
